I think the best thing for my house would be the smart window blinds that let sun in when its cold and blocks the sun when its hot because it would save on electricity. This would be the best idea because it would cut some bills down.
ReplyDeleteI think that the new type of oven would be beneficial for my family and I. When my grandma doesn't have enough time to cook, that would become very handy to finish up the meal.
ReplyDeleteThe wireless charging counter tops would help out in my house. My phone is almost always dead after school and it would be so easy to just set it on the counter and have it charge there and then.
ReplyDeleteWhy do I need my whole house connected to my smart phone? Is it really that difficult to walk four feet to the light switch? Plus, what about hackers? I don't like the idea that someone could break into my house by hacking the front door with a computer.

DeleteI believe that the most beneficial technology would be the automatic thermostat. The thermostat would save a lot of money in electric bills, plus you wouldn't have to change it yourself.
ReplyDeleteI think the the smart bulbs, would be the most beneficial thing for my home. Mainly because I tend to watch TV, and play video games with the lights off, but with these kinds of light bulbs they might give me a reason to have the lights on. My mom also likes to get into her shows, so if the lights changed color with her show she'd be able to get more into the show,
ReplyDelete1. One thing from the Smart Home that i think will benefit me in my home is the Smart Bulb. It will help me because by being able to turn off a light with my smartphone, I wont forget to turn off lights when I leave the house.

DeleteI like how they mentioned a "robot lawnmower." To be honest I'm curious if they meant it runs by itself, if so I would definitely use it, it would make my job easier that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteOne technology listed in this video that would be beneficial for my home would be motion activated lighting. This would be beneficial because it would save us money and then we would not have to worry about turning on/off the lights when we enter/leave a room.
ReplyDeleteI think an automated lawnmower sounds very useful. With one you would not have to go outside on a scorching hot day to mow the lawn.

ReplyDeleteI like the smart lock because if you left home and wasn't sure that you locked the door then you can just do it from far away. It is also a very useful thing to be installed in your house security wise because you wont have to go home from work or anything important to make sure your door is locked

DeleteOne technology in smart house i think would be very beneficial to my home would have to be, smart lock. My family and I, are always losing or forgetting our keys to the house and i think this would really help out more. It only works for whosoever finger print we choose to use that way no switching keys around if you don't have enough keys to share,or even losing track of keys.

DeleteMotion Advanced Lighting is beneficial because you would save a lot more money on your electric bill by turning off all lights from wherever you are.

DeleteThe best thing for my house would be the lights that go off once you walk out of the room. It would really save money on electric bills every month and we would not have to spend money on new light bulbs because the bulbs would not go out nearly as often.

DeleteI think the smart lock in the door is a very good one because some people forget there house keys and you have no way to get but the smart door would be a good one for a future house.
ReplyDeleteI think that a robot mower would be pretty cool because you now have time to do something else that needs to get done instead of mowing. Many don't like mowing and are lazy a robot mower does it for you and you don't have to worry about a thing. I believe these things would fly off the shelves if they came into store because many like the idea of not having to mow your yard.

DeleteOne technology that was in the video that would be beneficial in my home was the microwave. It would be very useful in my home because both parents work around dinner time and I am always at sports. It would be nice to come home to a meal that's ready. I wouldn't have to cook for my brothers anymore.

ReplyDeleteOne technology I would like to see, would be the smart washing machine. Id like this because I hate walking all the way down to my basement like 3-4 times and every time my clothes aren't done. If I had a reminder that notified me on my phone I feel like doing laundry would be just a tad easier.

ReplyDeleteOne thing in the smart house that would be beneficial is the wireless counter top that chargers your device. My mom and I lost our chargers so we share with my brother. The charging counter top would really be useful because it would really help us charge our phones.

DeleteThe technology that I believe will be great in a smart home is the wireless counter top charger. I think that will be more safer than using wired chargers because dogs or babies can cause an accident. You also wouldn't need to use plug ins for that , that means there is a less chance of getting electrocuted. That is why i think this technology would be great in a smart phone.

DeleteI believe that the smart lock will be most useful because, it be controlled from anywhere. Also what would be the point of the other things if someone breaks into your house and steel all of the other smart objects, just because you didn't have a smart lock.
