After watching the video about the development of the driverless cars, please answer the following question, in at least 2 complete sentences, in paragraph format, and correct spelling and grammar:
What do you think about having a driverless car? Would you like to have one, or not? Please tell me why you would or would not like to have a driverless car, along with an explanation of why or why not.
I think that it is pretty cool. I would like to have one to sit in my garage for 100 years and be worth money someday.

ReplyDeleteI believe that a driverless car is a pretty scary thought. While it might have enough information to work it is still scary to think that no one is in control of the car, only a computer is. I would not have a driverless car because I feel like it would keep me from being in control of the car and I do not feel as if I could live with myself if something did go wrong and I was not actually driving.

DeleteI would love to have a driverless car. Being able to just ride in the car, without having to worry about any accidents or anything else, would be great. Plus, it would help in the morning, when people are half asleep in the first place.
ReplyDeleteI think that a driver-less car would be great in some ways but I feel some people would take advantage of it. Some people might think that just because they don't have to actually steer the car themselves, they can do whatever they want while the car drives itself.
ReplyDeleteI think driverless cars are sawft, and would be a bad idea. Letting a machine take control is more likely going to get you killed, injured, or worse. I would not want to own one because it would be a bad idea over all you could be driving, and then BAM a stone cold stunner out of nowhere as you ram into another car because the machine couldn't read it. You are 100% more likely to survive a F-5 from Brock Lesnar then a machine driving without a human. People should stop being lazy, and trying to let everyone else do their work.

ReplyDeleteYes I would like to have one because i could worry about other things instead of focusing on the road. Like road trips when you are tired and u don't want to fall asleep on the road this is good for that.

DeleteNo. I wouldn't want a driverless car because I wouldn't have any peace of mind at all while driving. So many things could go wrong, especially with the technology being so young. I trust myself to drive more than I do a computer.

ReplyDeleteI would not want to have a driver less car. It is run completely by technology and if something were to go wrong, it could cause serious harm to the passengers or other people. It is a cool idea, but I don't think it is very safe.
ReplyDeleteHaving a driverless car would be scary. At any moment something could happen that could have been prevented if I was actually driving. The only person I trust on the road is myself.
ReplyDeleteYes it would make driving a lot more safe. It would keep the crazy drivers from wrecking into a kid crossing the street. But it would make driving a lot less fun for those who actually like driving like myself.

I would most definitely like to have one because i think our technology is evolving in great ways and id love to experience or own a car that potentially be the car everyone will be driving in the future. I think it is a really good idea and if something were to go wrong you can still grab the steering wheel and control the car.

ReplyDeleteI do not think it is a good idea to have a car drive for you because you cannot keep control of the car if you are not steering. I would not like to have one because I like being safe in the car and I would rather be steering then put my life in the hands of my car.
ReplyDeleteHaving a driverless car would not be a good thing to have. I would not like to have one. What if there is something wrong with the car while you are on the road, you can't react towards it. It would not be a safe environment.
ReplyDeleteI think having a driveless car is kind of cool because you don't have to do a otof work like you normally would when driving. But,as for getting a driveless car I think it might not be a good idea because you can't take control of the wheel if you wanted to .

DeleteI would love to have one of those but I think people life is at risk with those type of cars, I would say no ,because a driver-less car can cause danger on the road.
ReplyDeleteI believe that a diverless car might be safe when it is new, but later on there can be glitches or something could go wrong with the system and then it wouldn't be safe. I would like to test out the car and give it a try, but I don't believe I would buy one.
